Refund Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
How to cancel, what happens to what you already paid, and when we give money back. This page says the same as section 7 of the Terms, written out on its own because it is what you get linked to from the payment page.
1. Cancelling
You can cancel a paid plan whenever you want, from your account. No calls, no forms, no reason required. The button opens the customer portal at Polar, who is the seller on your receipt.
Cancelling is not the same as a refund: it stops the next charge. What you already paid for, you keep until the end of that period.
2. What happens after you cancel
The plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. After that the editor keeps working with the free limits.
Shots above the free limit stay in your account and are not deleted. You just cannot add new ones until you are under the limit again.
Anything you already exported is yours. Files that left the app are on your computer and nothing we do touches them.
3. Refunds — 14 days
If something went wrong — a charge you did not expect, a renewal you meant to cancel, a service that did not work — write to contacto@brainglab.com within 14 days of the charge and we will look at your case.
We do not ask you to prove anything. We ask what happened, because that is how we find out what to fix.
Refunds are issued by Polar Software Inc., who processed the payment, and go back to the same card or account you paid with. Polar usually takes between five and ten business days.
4. What we do not refund
Periods already used and finished, beyond the 14-day window. If you were subscribed for eight months and cancel in the ninth, the eight months are not refunded.
That said, if you never used it and the renewal caught you by surprise, write to us. We would rather give the money back than keep it from someone who did not want to pay.
5. Your rights as a consumer
None of the above takes away the rights that consumer law gives you where you live. In Chile, that is Ley 19.496; in the European Union, the right of withdrawal for distance contracts.
When those rights say more than this page, those rights win.
6. Contact
Brainglab — Santiago, Chile. For anything about a charge or a refund: contacto@brainglab.com. We answer in the language you write in, if it is one of the five the app speaks.
